Directs the human resource function.
Recruits, interviews and helps select employees to fill vacant exempt positions.
Plans new employee orientation to foster a positive attitude toward Company goals.
Interprets and administers collective bargaining agreement. Represents Company in
collective bargaining agreement negotiations.
Keeps a record of insurance coverage, pension plan and personnel transactions such as
hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews and terminations.
Responsible for compensation program.
Prepares budget for human resource operations.
Represents Company at personnel related hearings and investigations.
Keeps records of hired employee characteristics for governmental reporting purposes.

Lean
Enterprise Manager
SUMMARY: Develop strategy for implementation of Lean Enterprise with senior management teams at each LSNA site. Evaluate and prioritize needs based on input from various groups of stakeholders within the organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
Form and guide steering teams to oversee elements of the Lean Enterprise. Provide technical knowledge, organization and focus to these teams to ensure sustained success of initiatives and on-going improvement efforts.
Develop lean leaders within the organization by coordinating Emerson training (including approval of project mission statements for Lean Champion candidates) and mentoring team members to lead elements of the Enterprise.
Facilitate leaning activities (kaizen blitzes, action plan reviews) within the plants.
Develop and facilitate joint projects with customers and suppliers as needed to support key product-based value streams.
Assist employees at all levels with implementation of all elements of the Lean Enterprise. This includes strong technical direction as well as providing resource and organizational support when needed.
Provide strong participation and coordination with the Emerson corporate lean organization. This includes involvement in training, sharing best practices with other Emerson businesses and participation on focus groups (i.e. supply chain leaning) that result in
Kato/LSNA sustaining a position as a leading implementer of Lean Enterprise with best practice initiatives.
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers (consultants) to assist with implementation of Lean Enterprise activities as needed.
Maintain an intranet site that informs all employees of Lean Enterprise activities, including status of action plans.
Assist with customer interface as needed to provide compelling evidence that
Kato/LSNA is a leader in Lean Enterprise implementation.
Support business plans and results in preparation of information or presentations that punctuate the importance of our Lean Enterprise. Participate in audits as needed to provide information on continuous improvement initiatives.
Participate (present) at technical conferences to develop and maintain relationships with individuals and firms that are best practice implementers of lean technologies.

Electronic Engineer
SUMMARY: Researches, develops, designs, and tests electronic components, equipment, and systems by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
Works with or designs and directs personnel in fabrication of test control apparatus and equipment, and determines methods, procedures, and conditions for testing products.
Performs/directs activities to ensure that manufacturing, construction, installation, and operational testing conform to functional specifications and customer requirements.
Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks. Expected program experience includes, but is not limited to, MS Office, ACAD Electrical, OrCad and P-Spice.

Researches and analyzes data such as customer design proposal, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application.
Designs products or systems such as instruments, machines, and mechanical, thermal, hydraulic, or heat transfer systems.
Coordinates fabrication and installation activities to ensure products and systems conform to engineering design and customer specifications.
Designs products and systems to interface machines, hardware, and software.
Evaluates field installations and recommends design modifications to eliminate machine system malfunctions.

Electrical Technician
SUMMARY: This job involves processing customer orders. You will review customer specifications, compare requirements with product availability and generate bills of materials, wiring schematics and quality assurance test documents. Candidates will use AutoCAD, Microsoft office and custom PC programs. You will also work closely with engineers adding details and BOM structures while finalizing designs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
Runs custom programs designed to assist in developing electrical bills of materials, drawings, test requirements, etc. to define order requirements for production personnel.
Discusses layout and assembly procedures/problems with Electrical Engineer to clarify design details and functional criteria of electrical equipment. Use that information to create electrical schematics for production.
Recommends changes in circuitry or installation specifications to simplify assembly and maintenance.
Analyzes and interprets test data.
Writes technical reports and develops charts, graphs, and schematics to describe and illustrate system’s operating characteristics, malfunctions, deviations from design specifications, and functional limitations.

1. ACAD or other schematic creation software and the creation of schematics from a variety of sources, including; product definitions, same-as-except orders, verbal instructions. Experience in rotating electrical equipment is a plus.
2. Bill of Material (BOM) and Product Data Management (PDM) experience. Matrix and Oracle experience is a plus
3. Selection of electrical components for equipment, examples include
CTs, PTs, RTDs, switches, motors. Voltage Regulators experience is a plus.
4. Experience in reading and troubleshooting electrical schematics to assist assembly in a production environment.
Mechanical
Designer - ProE
SUMMARY: This job involves processing customer orders. You will review customer specifications, compare requirements with product availability and create mechanical design solutions using ProE and generate bills of materials. You will also work closely with engineers adding details and BOM structures while finalizing designs. Prepares clear, complete, and accurate working plans and detail drawings from rough or detailed sketches or notes by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
Create 3D model of parts, assemblies, and drawings using ProE. Some use of ACAD for 2D models of parts and assemblies may also be required.
Utilizes knowledge of various machines, engineering practices, mathematics, building materials, and other physical sciences to prepare sketches of solution options to meet customer needs. Reviews the solution options with a peer group, checking dimensions of parts, materials to be used (BOM), relation of one part to another, and relation of various parts to whole structure or project. Reviews GD&T and tolerance analysis with the engineer. Complete drawings and BOM’s for manufacturing.
Monitors fabrication and assembly activities to ensure products and systems conform to engineering design and customer specifications.
